• Using funds for purposes other than those explicitly stated in the campaign description.

1. Identity Theft

• Creating campaigns using false identities or impersonating other individuals or organizations.

1. Unlawful Activities

• Using the platform to raise funds for illegal or unethical purposes.

1. Donation Fraud

• Engaging in fraudulent donation practices, such as using stolen payment information.

1. Artificial Inflation of Campaign Metrics

• Manipulating the campaign’s donation statistics to appear more successful than it is.

3. Fraud Prevention Measures

3.1 Verification Process

• Identity Verification: RiteFundMe may require campaign creators to verify their identity through government-issued identification and other documentation.

• Bank Account Verification: Campaign creators must link a verified bank account to withdraw funds.

3.2 Campaign Review

• All campaigns are subject to review by our moderation team to ensure compliance with platform guidelines and detect potential red flags.

3.3 Advanced Monitoring

• Automated Systems: RiteFundMe uses advanced algorithms to monitor campaign activities and detect unusual patterns or behaviors.

• Manual Reviews: Our team conducts manual reviews of flagged campaigns to assess potential fraudulent activity.

3.4 Secure Payment Processing

3.5 Community Reporting

• Users can report suspicious campaigns or activities through our Fraud Reporting Form or by emailing support@ritefundme.com.

4. Actions Against Fraud

4.1 Investigation Process

• Initial Review: Reports of suspected fraud are reviewed within 5 business days of receipt.

• Evidence Collection: RiteFundMe may request additional information from users, including donors and campaign creators, to investigate claims.

• Decision: Based on the investigation, RiteFundMe will determine whether fraud has occurred.

4.2 Consequences of Fraud

If fraud is confirmed, RiteFundMe may take one or more of the following actions:

1. Suspend or terminate the campaign.

1. Freeze funds associated with the campaign.

1. Permanently ban the user(s) involved in the fraudulent activity.

1. Refund donors, if possible, in accordance with our Refund Policy.

1. Report the activity to law enforcement or relevant authorities.

4.3 Appeals Process

• Campaign creators may appeal enforcement actions by submitting a written request to support@ritefundme.com.

• Appeals will be reviewed within 10 business days of submission.

5. Donor Protection Measures

To protect donors, RiteFundMe:

1. Provides a secure platform for transactions to prevent unauthorized use of payment information.

1. Encourages donors to review campaign details thoroughly before contributing.

1. Investigates all reported fraudulent campaigns and takes appropriate action.

6. Responsibilities of Users

6.1 Campaign Creators

• Ensure all information provided in campaigns is accurate and truthful.

• Use funds solely for the stated purpose of the campaign.

• Cooperate fully with RiteFundMe during investigations.

6.2 Donors

• Exercise caution and perform due diligence before contributing to any campaign.

• Report any suspicious activity or concerns about a campaign immediately.

7. Limitations of Liability

RiteFundMe provides a platform for connecting donors and campaign creators but does not guarantee the success or legitimacy of any campaign.

• Donors acknowledge that contributions are made at their own risk.

• While RiteFundMe takes measures to prevent fraud, it is not liable for losses resulting from fraudulent campaigns.

RiteFundMe is committed to continually improving our fraud prevention measures, including adopting new technologies and best practices to safeguard our platform and users.
